It took us

* 414 tests
* 3 engineers
* and 18 technicians to test our product on the field
for us to present Xonnoz to the rest of the world. All the work resulted in a custom made conveyor belt with a long lifespan.
What is all the fuss about anyway?
Well, we noticed two things on the field, glued cleats were not strong enough especially in industries where oil, fat, chemicals or strong impact, are implied.
And the second fact was that the released cleats were often the cause of productionstops while the conveyor belt itself was still in a good shape.
Resulting in urgent interventions which is costly for the client and small profits in comparison to all the organizational planning for the conveyor belt supplier.
A LONG LIFESPAN
We wanted a conveyor belt with cleats, where the cleats equal at least the service life of the belt. Secondly, we wanted less unexpected interventions for the conveyor belt service supplier, who has to manage a complicated planning.
This led us to develop the process of hot vulcanization. Thanks to unprocessed rubber, heat and pressure, it unites the cleats with the conveyor belt, being 1 single unit. Resulting in a 30% longer lifespan of the cleats. This solution was overwhelmingly well received by production units, and once they chose this option, they never went back to glued cleats.

You choose the type of rubber for the cleats, again adequate for your product
You choose the type of cleat, adequate for your installation and product
We vulcanize these cleats on the belt
We deliver a long lifespan
