By hot vulcanizing sidewalls, XONNOZ obtains an exceptional adhesion and a far better abrasion resistance.
Hot vulcanization adheres the sidewall to the belt by applying heat and pressure, leaving no room for anything substance to crawl in between. Not even the tiniest grain of sand.
The technique of hot vulcanization delivers a number of advantages to belts with XONNOZ sidewalls; not the least being an improved resistance to higher temperatures compared to belts manufactured by cold bonding.
